Today the "Nature of Tasmania" could be described as cold and snowy. We had widespread snowfalls last night down to about 500m. Here's a few photos. (Click to enlarge)
Murchison Highway at the Cradle Mountain Turn off. (The cradle Mountain road was closed to 2wd's)
Murchison Highway between Waratah and Hellyer Gorge
Great pics and interesting to look at but I'd rather be here in QLD!
ReplyDeleteSo would I :-)
ReplyDeleteI like these, mosura. We thought we might be in for some snow over the past couple of days. Yesterday was unbelievably cold!
ReplyDeleteI love the Waratah streetscape. Just something about that photo that grabs me.
The town of Waratah adds warmth where the humans are huddled ;) Brrrrr! All the images look great! Fancy a walk up Cradle? Heehee!
ReplyDeleteG'day Mosura,
ReplyDeleteYep, thought you must have been getting something down there. Looks cold! Your images get the message over very well.
Regards,
G
